Hotel Zum Einsiedler

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the restaurant, and right away we felt at home. The food was AMAZINGLY delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and more than accommodating. They also took care of the kids’ special requests without any fuss. We’d love to return. 100% recommended.

We booked our holiday at short notice and were welcomed so warmly. We chose half-board, and every request was taken care of. When my grandson couldn’t choose what to have for dinner, they found him a child-friendly meal, and other special requests were no trouble either. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

I only stayed overnight with breakfast, so I can’t say anything about the hot food. My room was clean and tidy, though quite basic, and the hotel is showing its age a little. The restaurant has a rustic look, but it feels cozy when people gather in the evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and happy to help with special requests. The room was very fairly priced. Mine was right above the bowling alley, though, so anyone who goes to bed early might have trouble falling asleep. The breakfast is where I’d take points off. Pre-baked rolls and crystallized honey don’t belong on a hotel breakfast table, in my opinion. Still, I can recommend the hotel for its wonderful location, and I’m sure I’ll have a pleasant stay. We came for a four-day lace-making course and got a very friendly welcome. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean, the staff are attentive and keen to meet our needs, and the food is delicious. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for a wonderful time!
