Die Oberlochmühle PENSION

The little chapel up on the mountain was a highlight for us, and the town is beautifully set and very quiet. We stayed a few days as a family with our grandparents, and everyone was happy with the breakfast and the very good rooms. The owners clearly put a lot of care into their work, and everything was excellent. We also ate at the inn on the main street, where the food was great and fairly priced. We'd happily return.

We spent a wonderful long weekend here as a group of six, and would love to come back. The garden is a real treat, with a barbecue area, giant chess, a swimming pond, and ping-pong. The forest starts just behind the house, and parking is right out front. The owners are so passionate about what they do, and you can see it in the cleanliness and the breakfast. A fantastic guesthouse in a fantastic setting. Thanks so much!

Seiffen is only a few minutes away by car, and the guesthouse is in a handy spot. It's very quiet with no through traffic, and there’s parking plus a hiking parking lot right outside. We felt at home there. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast was tasty and nicely laid out. We’d book again.

Our little Westie was welcomed warmly and could join us at breakfast. There were nice walks right from the house, including to the hiking chapel and around town. Halfway to Braun's Holzwerkkunst, we stopped for delicious mulled wine on a bench beside the stream. The location worked well for us, with day trip spots like Seiffen easy to reach. We booked the vacation apartment, which was clean, had comfortable beds, and greeted us with candle arches glowing warmly. It had everything we needed. The house had several shared spaces too: guests staying in rooms could cook in the kitchen, and the living room was good for chatting and spending time together. There was local information, board games, drinks, and snacks, and tea was free. Breakfast was pleasant, with tasty sausage and rolls. It’s a lovely place to unwind, and we had a really relaxing stay. The main drawback is the number of stairs, which could be difficult for people with limited mobility. A floor lamp in the apartment would have been a nice extra. We’d love to come back.
