The food was a real highlight, all fresh and tasty, with generous portions after a day of trekking. Breakfast also had lots to choose from, fresh and KM0. Ask the owner about the local wines, beers and liquors. There’s a huge selection, and they’ll suggest something to suit your taste. My partner and I found all the staff very kind. The place itself is beautiful and quiet, a good spot to get away from the city for a few days. The renovated rooms are large and spotless, and the bathroom is practical and in perfect condition. The whole building has a distinctive, original feel and is well maintained. Recommended!

We’ll be back. The family are lovely, the food is fresh and good, and there’s nice local wine. Our room was comfortable, clean and very well kept. It’s a peaceful area, too.

After a delicious schnitzel, I left my headset in the restaurant. They sent it to me in the Netherlands. Such kind people.

I only ate here, so I can’t comment on the hotel. The staff were friendly, the menu was extensive and the food tasted fine.

We spent four nights here and I wish we could have stayed longer. The owner, who runs everything, was especially great. We also loved the rooms, beds, breakfast and dinner, and the view.
