There wasn't even a phone in the room, and basic things like slippers, toothpaste, and a toothbrush were missing. The reception closes after 19:30, with no service available after that. Breakfast ends at 8:30, and someone knocked on my door at 8:15 to tell me I had to come out or I'd miss it. Checkout is at 10am, earlier than the 11 or 12 checkout times you find nowadays. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.

The employees were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. There are no regular meals at the hotel, though. The rooms feel outdated, and I missed having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. Aside from that, it was a good experience.

The weekly market in front of the hotel on Saturday was nice to enjoy. I slept really well at Mainzer Hof and was satisfied, though I could sometimes hear my neighbor moving around in their room. The rooms are okay, and the place is clean, with friendly staff who make you feel comfortable. It's not a 5-star hotel, but for a few days of rest in Dieburg, it works well. For a longer stay, I'd probably choose another city, maybe Darmstadt.

The room was clean, the towels were refreshed, and breakfast was nice. It had everything I'd expect from a decent hotel, and the price felt reasonable for that.

I loved the location in this beautiful, quaint little German town. The place was very clean, and the staff were great, friendly, and really helpful.
