The room was just right, and both the kitchen and bathroom were excellent.

Breakfast the next morning was a lovely finish to an unforgettable celebration, and worth a visit on its own. Our catering team was also thrilled with Maurerhansl, the kitchen, and the bar. They even called our wedding one of their summer highlights. We had our festival-boho wedding at the Maurerhansl, and couldn't have picked a more beautiful place. From the first moment we stepped into the hotel, it felt like exactly where we wanted to get married. Its artistic feel, history, and all the thoughtful details really spoke to us, as did the wonderfully warm hosts. Planning and communication were easy, reliable, and friendly, from the early stages through the celebration. We felt at ease the whole time. Our ceremony was on the peaceful lakeside grounds, with direct access to Lake Ammersee, a setting we'll never forget. Then we celebrated with our guests in the stylish function rooms. The jungle bar, with its sound and light system, was a real highlight and made for a fantastic party atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team for making our wedding day so special. At €165 a night for a triple room for two people, breakfast included, this was very poor value for money. The old hotel badly needs renovation. There were hardly any power outlets in the room, the bathroom was cramped, and the street right next to it was noisy.

The main road location was the one downside, and with no air conditioning it got a bit warm. In summer, leaving a window open at night there isn't ideal. Apart from that, we had a lovely overnight stay while passing through. This is a genuinely distinctive hotel, full of care and character rather than the usual cookie-cutter style. The building is very old, with bright rooms that keep original features like old doors and beautifully restored wooden floors alongside newer additions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome, which matters to me because I want to feel that my dog is valued too.
