After a long flight and drive, I was looking forward to the cafe I'd seen on Instagram. I started filming as we came in, hoping to post it on Insta, but a bearded staff member immediately and rudely told me to stop and said I couldn't take photos. It was a strange response when I meant to promote the place. His generally aggressive manner was disappointing and completely unnecessary.

The cafe has a comfy, stylish feel and was lovingly redesigned a couple of years ago. The food and service were great. It's also in an excellent spot near the lake, train station, and town centre. I like that the road outside is traffic-calmed and shared by cars and pedestrians.

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! The cafe products were good quality, so that's an extra star. Our bill first included things we hadn't ordered, making it almost 50% more expensive. When we challenged it, they "corrected" the bill by putting through similar items, but it still came to more than our original order. I really wonder whether it's legal in Germany to charge customers more than the prices listed at the establishment.

We took a few cakes to go without expecting them to taste this amazing 😍 They really impressed us. You can't imagine how good the cakes are here 😎 We'll be back soon to try more flavours 😊☺️

Cozy atmosphere, lovely pastries without much added sugar, and good mild coffee served with a milk can.
