I had a really bad experience at this guesthouse and wouldn't recommend it. I told them I'd arrive later, but got no reply. When I arrived, everything was shut and the phone was switched off too.

We spent a week cycling in Diez and stayed at the Penzion Diez. Mrs. Penz (Anja) gave us a very warm welcome and was always there if we needed help. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area.

Everything is within walking distance, and the location is brilliant. The vacation apartment is fantastic, and the hostess is super friendly and helpful. Anni is always available and made our stay really relaxing.

The welcome was incredibly friendly, and this place has the potential for a full five stars. The location is fantastic and the rooms are beautifully furnished. A few small things need attention: the TV only got the first few channels and didn't work properly, the soap was empty, and there were stubborn stains on the bed linen. Update: They replied to this message, which shows how much passion goes into running the accommodation. We have the greatest respect and are grateful for that. If it's okay, we'll get in touch again.
