The parking charge outside the apartments felt too expensive to me. Still, the location is hard to beat: the beach is a two-minute walk away, with fine sand along the Baltic Sea, and the little Edeka in the same complex made morning bread runs easy. We stayed for a week at the end of September 2025. The apartment was practical and fine if you aren't looking for luxury. One thing to plan around: it's on a campsite with a vehicle ban from 10 pm to 7 am, so an early drive to a pier for sunrise won't work.

The only extra cost we weren't keen on was paying separately to park on the property. The place itself had everything we needed, and the Baltic Sea was just a short stroll away. The landlord and staff member were both really friendly.

Being right by the dunes was fantastic, and our family had a great time. The place itself was okay. A few things didn't work as they should: several sockets were out, the extractor fan wasn't working, there was no toaster, and the stove made odd noises.

Falling asleep to the sea and catching a different kind of light at sunrise each morning made the stay for me. Strandidyll sits right behind the dunes, and the team were so friendly. We had a fantastic holiday, and the cocktails were delicious. I was surprised by complaints about the missing toaster. You can manage without one; what mattered to me was having a pleasant, functional room, being on holiday, and having such a wonderful location with friendly people around. Four days felt far too short 😏. The accommodation was clean, the staff friendly, and we couldn't find anything to complain about. It's a lovely place and works especially well for families with children. We'd happily return.
