We were lucky to arrive on a beautiful snowy evening, and we will definitely come back. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable and already made up, and towels were provided. It was furnished with lovely attention to detail. The setting is right by the dike, with beach access straight across the way. It's a little outside town, around a 40-minute walk to the shops or five minutes by car. There are also several vending machines with things like toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, soap, snacks, drinks and sweets for anything you need on the spur of the moment. We booked the holiday home at short notice for seven people. The bedrooms were lovely, all with wooden floors, while the entrance and other floors were stone. The rustic furnishings stood out as soon as we walked in. There was a double bedroom downstairs, another downstairs with two single beds, and upstairs a double bedroom with a bathtub, plus another room with its own bathroom. There was a shower downstairs too. The furnishings were adequate, though there were far too few pots and pans for seven people. Both TVs could use an update. On Saturday, a technical fault stopped the heating. That shouldn't happen, but equipment can fail. We had an infant with us, so after we contacted reception they promptly gave us a space heater to keep the living room warm. The heating was working again that evening. We also received a bottle of sparkling wine as an apology and a sauna voucher as compensation.
