Our meal was lovely, though 8.90 euro for a glass of wine seemed a little steep. Be aware that they don't take card payments. We had to go to a nearby ATM and withdraw about 50 euro in cash for the meal. We understand paying cash for food and drinks under 20 euro, but refusing a credit card for something over that seems ridiculous. This is the first time we've run into this while travelling in Germany.

Everything was within easy walking distance, and the hotel is a lovely, cosy place not far from the town centre. My room had old-world charm, with exposed beams and smaller windows, plus a modern bathroom. The room wasn't expensive, the service was friendly, and breakfast was a tasty buffet with lots of choices.

A cosy family room with four beds, a delicious breakfast, free WiFi, and free private parking made this an excellent hotel. The staff were lovely. We stayed for a night while travelling from France, in the most beautiful town in Germany.

The food was good and the service really attentive. I liked the traditional menu, though I wish there had been more wines to choose from.

The host was so gentle and kind, and the hotel was lovely and clean. There’s a small parking area too. Absolutely recommend it!
