We came for dinner and drinks with a large group, including guests from France. Two servers were great, but one gave such poor customer service that it ruined the evening. Service started well, then tapered off. It might work for a quick dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a big event. After they refused us additional service here, a place down the street by the river crossing welcomed us and gave us much better customer service.

I was in Donauworth for work and found this an ideal base. It’s right beside the train station, and the restaurants and bars in the town center are only a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and included in the room price. The rooms were spacious if you booked a double or apartment, and they were cleaned well. Air conditioning is essential in summer.

A good option for a stay in Donauworth. The room prices are good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good, and there’s a restaurant for dinner. In summer, the beer garden is a nice spot to hang out.

The hotel is clean and centrally located, and the staff are very courteous. Parking can be limited while the restaurant is open. Be aware when booking that the rooms have no air conditioning or fans.

I booked a large apartment with a kitchen and fridge, but the first thing I saw on entering was a disgusting, filthy sofa, like something abandoned on the street. There wasn’t enough kitchenware, not even a frying pan. The upstairs bedroom was around 36°C on June 17, with no air conditioning. I also found lots of cobwebs in the wardrobes and corners. Is this really a 3-star place? Maybe in a third-world country.
