It costs a little more than some other places, but I thought it was worth it. The hotel is very well situated in Donauwörth, has a very good breakfast, and there’s also a good Italian restaurant on site.

There isn’t much parking right by the hotel, but I found a large public lot about a four-minute walk away, which was a nice discovery for next time. Hotel im Ried is near the center of Donauwoerth, right at the edge of the pedestrian zone, with restaurants and shops close by. My room was far more spacious than I’m used to in Europe and really comfortable. Breakfast had a terrific range, and the restaurant serves wonderful Italian food in the evening. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a wonderful stay.

The owner seems to work night and day to look after guests. Breakfast and dinner were great, and this is one of the best managed hotels I’ve stayed at in Germany.

Parking can be an issue, but the hotel is about as central as you can get in Donauwörth. It’s good and clean.

Right in the center, and a pleasure to stay in. Everything was very clean, the rooms felt new, and breakfast was simple and nice. Nothing bad to say!
