Hotel-Restaurant Sonneneck

Amazing food, and a lovely place with lovely people.

The food was very good, and the owners and staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Our room wasn’t very large, but it was attractively furnished, with good reading lamps by the bed. We could ask to have the pillows and duvets changed. We felt very comfortable there. The one drawback is that the hotel is in a small industrial area. Still, it’s a highly recommended hotel and restaurant.

The service was especially attentive, which was a nice touch. Both the hotel and food were first-class, and the prices seemed almost too low for that level of quality.

The food was outstanding. I chose the à la carte menu, though hotel guests can also get a reasonably priced set menu. I didn’t take photos of everything, but the complimentary onion tart and the salad plate served with many dishes were a great start. Then the main course arrived, and everything was absolutely delicious! If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely return. Keep up the good work. I stayed at the hotel as well as ate there. It’s good value for what you pay. Everything was clean and in good condition, the beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and the staff incredibly friendly.
