The building is very close to Beningaburg Castle, and we enjoyed hearing about its history. The old ancestral hall, now used as a dining room, is magnificent. There are more seats in the cellar by an open fireplace, and you can eat outside in the courtyard too. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the place is absolutely worth seeing 😊. The rooms are simply furnished, but clean and equipped with what you need. The price for what you get is excellent, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. Parking is available nearby. There are unfortunately a lot of stairs and steps, which makes access difficult for wheelchair users.

We only stopped for coffee and cake, and both were really tasty. The staff member serving us was so friendly. It’s a lovely, slightly rustic hotel and a nice place to visit.

I’m reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. The castle setting is lovely, and everyone was very friendly. The food and prices were both okay, though it didn’t feel like the staff were professionals.

The room felt cramped with our dog, even though we’d mentioned in advance that we were bringing one. It was small and dark, though manageable for a single night. The little hotel itself is romantic, the food is good, and the owners and staff are very nice.

The building and grounds are beautiful, with plenty of attractions nearby. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom looked a little dated, though only cosmetically. The place is affordable and highly recommendable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we’ll definitely return :)
