Nordsee - Residenz

We spent New Year's Eve 2022/2023 here with the family. The house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, around five minutes from Dornum. The landlords were lovely and didn't mind at all that we got a little noisy that night. Everything was great, thanks! We'd happily come back. :-)

The little map and activity ideas posted by the entrance were really useful. Dornumersiel on the North Sea is only a few minutes away by car, and cycling there is easy too, though with children some of the route takes you along the busy road and can feel dangerous. At the house there's a small playground, plus a big rear terrace with chairs and a grill. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Thanks, everything was perfect.

The quiet setting is lovely, though the beach is about 6 km away. It's a clean, attractive ground-floor holiday apartment on Juist, with a garden, a practical little kitchenette, a nice bedroom, and a large bathroom. We'd love to stay again.

We'd gladly return, though a week really flew by and felt too short. Our first family holiday, booked for July 10th to 16th, 2017, was a lovely one. The landlady welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of ideas for things to do, including the seal sanctuary we visited. The apartment was spacious enough, and our son loved the rocking chair. It was in a pleasant, quiet spot. You could clearly hear the neighbours' children running around or talking loudly, but we got used to the noise, and we were out most of the day anyway. :D :D
