Prize by Radisson, Dortmund City

We picked Prize as our place to stay for a Dortmund Weihnachtsmarkt visit. The building’s interior is really pretty, and our room, though on the small side, was fine for what we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the clean shower in the room was great. Breakfast was on the top floor, where there’s also a rooftopbar. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of good-quality food. Thier-Galerie is right next door, making it a handy starting point for shopping. We were only a few minutes from the Weihnachtsmarkt too. A good hotel for a city visit.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and the price was low. I liked the cool temperature, though that’s a matter of taste. The lobby, elevator, and staircase keep the original building’s style and decor, and it’s been done tastefully.

The staff were young, polite, and nice, and I liked the vibe. The rooftop bar was closed, which was a real shame. Most of the room was clean and pleasant, though there was dust in less visible spots, like under the bed.

The rooms are well insulated, the location is great, and the service was amazing. It’s highly recommended for the value. The breakfast is served on a rooftop, which is nice too!
