Gästehaus Kerle

We spent one night in a room with a shared bathroom. It was okay, but we had to clear away some cobwebs to make the room more comfortable.

I’ve tried several guesthouses around here, and this is the only one that meets such a high standard. It’s clean, warm, pleasant, and very good value. I’d gladly return next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend! :)

We’d be happy to return. The landlady, Mrs. Kerle, was very friendly. The place is small, charming, quiet, and exceptionally clean, with a lovely presentation. Its central location also has good tram links to Heidelberg. Even in the drizzle, the little covered balcony beneath a fig tree full of fruit was a nice place to sit.

The owner couldn’t be nicer, and dogs are welcome. You’re right by the vineyard, a lovely spot to walk them. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the mattresses seemed brand new. The spacious bathroom and shared kitchen were both practical, with the kitchen stocked with what you need. A great stay.
