Breakfast was good enough and had a full selection. The room itself was large, with a comfortable bed, heating and a balcony, and the kitchen had everything needed. Still, the place needs a refurbishment. The towels were missing at first, then brought over unpackaged, which felt like a hygiene issue. The toilet was dirty, as shown in the photo, and there were loose wires in a kitchen cupboard. The extractor fan was the only light available in the kitchen.

The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, but the stay had some frustrating parts. We were there for four weeks and never once had the room cleaned, so we had to do it ourselves. They say rooms are cleaned only when guests leave, which doesn't help people staying for a while. We got one set of fresh sheets and towels, thanks to the very helpful staff. For a self-catering hotel, the cooking setup is very limited. There should be a microwave in the room. The laundry service is expensive, and guests can't do their own washing. There is a washing machine, but it was broken and might damage clothes.

The main drawback is the location: this part of Dreieich has very little around, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to the old town unless you drive. On the other hand, it's completely quiet at night. We were greeted warmly at reception, the rooms were large and comfortable, and breakfast had a wide choice of continental food.

There’s a short walk to the station, with a train to Frankfurt every hour, so it worked well for going to events there. The rooms were spacious and clean, and came with complimentary mineral water, tea, coffee, basic cooking utensils and a fridge.
