We stayed on the top floor, which was excellent and felt like a family studio. It had a little kitchenette, a private bathroom, one double bed, and one single bed. Everything was clean, and the hosts were helpful.

It has a bit of a Grandma’s house feel. The guesthouse sits on a cul-de-sac in Dresden, but the view from the window feels more like the countryside. It’s peaceful, and I could always find somewhere to park. The rooms are somewhat dated but looked after. Upstairs, ours had a double bed and a single bed, a small table and chairs, and a kitchenette. The bathroom next door was roomy, and its furnishings seemed fairly new. The staff were friendly and let us arrive just before midnight. We missed breakfast because of a booking error, but they immediately pointed us to several nearby bakeries. If you want an affordable, quiet place without extra frills and still close to the city center, this is a good option.

The setting is lovely and easy to reach by train, but it’s still very quiet. Our room was nice, with a TV and very soft beds. Breakfast was tasty, inexpensive, and had plenty to choose from.
