The guest rooms are comfortable. Owner Ila speaks limited English, so it's worth having a few German phrases ready for communicating.

The apartment itself is clean, and the rate is reasonable for Dresden. The courtyard and hallway aren't especially inviting, though. There's no breakfast, which is a shame, but a bakery about 100 meters away has different breakfast options, even on Sundays. If you like a shared-apartment atmosphere, this is one of Dresden's top addresses. It feels more personal, but don't expect all the usual hotel amenities.

Everything felt clean, tidy, and homelike in this excellent apartment. The owner lives there and rents out three rooms. There's a small shared kitchenette with all the essentials, plus tea and coffee. It's a 20-minute walk from the central train station, or just two tram stops to Nuremberg Platz.

The location is excellent, less than a 30-minute walk from the train station. The room is very nice and bright. Just be aware that the shower and toilet may be shared with other guests.
