Casa Casimir

Yesterday was my first time at your Elbhangfest celebration, and what a fantastic evening it was. The music was amazing, the people were great, and everything was superbly organized. Thanks so much. See you again next year!

The cycle path along the Elbe starts right in the garden, and Dresden’s center is only 15 minutes away. The place is clean, roomy, and has a well-equipped kitchen plus good parking. 10/10, would recommend 👍🏻

The setup was a bit odd: the rooftop was actually on the ground-floor garden lawn, and the small Bütec dance floor sat outside the sound sweet spot. It was also a tripping hazard for people at the back. The sound itself was alright, but the layout felt poorly planned. Water cost €4, the same as beer, and there was hardly any shade during the Elbhangfest event. The crowd wasn't really for me, though otherwise it was okay 😅

The garden opens straight onto the Elbe riverbank, and the view is lovely. There’s a treehouse, plenty of amenities, and room for yoga and relaxing. The family hosting us was wonderful, attentive, and easy to reach, and parking is right outside the house. It works really well for big groups, dogs, and kids, with all the toys provided and a sweetly furnished children's room. The kitchen has everything, and the beds are made up. Public transport connections are excellent. The one small bathroom is the only drawback, though it really wasn’t a big deal.
