Two bicycles are provided, and cycling is a good way to reach the old town. We chose the car for the return, though, because the final few kilometers are quite steep. Paid parking is available downtown, for example on the parking strip on Ostra-Allee for €6 per day. The spacious holiday apartment is just outside the city center, charmingly furnished, and has modern comforts including a fully automatic coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine.

The apartment was fully equipped, though you'll need to bring your own coffee and similar supplies. The friendly landlords had everything well organized.

This basement apartment is in a large mansion and feels pleasant, tidy, and spacious. There are stairs to get in, as well as steps inside the apartment.

The grounds are beautiful, and the hosts are friendly. A lovely spot for spending a few days in Dresden.
