The rooms are perfectly fine if you're not after anything fancy. There are paintings along the hallways and stairs, and even a knight armour on display. The location is the best part, in the largest villa district in germany, with lots of beautiful houses nearby and a really lovely bridge within an easy walk. Just be aware that the parking spaces at the back are cramped, and getting in can be tricky if you're unlucky.

We liked the neighborhood, with all its cool houses, and it was only a five-minute walk to catch the train. The rooms are dated, but big and clean, and ours even had a balcony. There was a really nice wardrobe with hanging space on one side and shelves on the other. We normally wouldn't unpack for just two nights, but there was so much room in the bedroom and wardrobe that we did this time. Breakfast was fully stocked, and they kept refilling things as they ran low. The staff were very nice, and we really enjoyed our stay.
