Dresden is wonderful, and the tram right in front of the apartment took us straight downtown. Just be ready for Sundays and holidays, when grocery and hardware stores are closed along with most restaurants. We weren't prepared with enough food. The apartment was in great shape in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There's a grocery store across the street, and cafes, restaurants, parks, and the river are all within walking distance. The tram stop is 100m away, but the thick windows kept its noise out. Parking was great too, with our own spot near the door, so it was easy to carry our gear to and from the bikes. The host was great and very responsive. Wi-Fi was a problem at first. He upgraded his Sorglos box to the Pro version, which fixed the wireless link between the router and the apartment extender. Dropped packets at idle fell to a steady 1%. He plans to replace the 2.4 GHz extender with a dual band unit, which should improve speed and stability. Since my partner and I were both working remotely, we bought holiday eSIMs from Orange and joined video meetings by phone to save bandwidth through the extender.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the small Pillnitz holiday apartment was cozy and spotless. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The ongoing roadworks meant it was very quiet. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.

Our landlord was friendly and competent, and parking was included. The apartments are beautiful, tastefully furnished, and very comfortable, with a combined living, kitchen, and sleeping area plus a large, bright bathroom. We'll definitely stay here again.

Matias welcomed us warmly. The location is a little far from the city center, but the tram stops right outside and makes it easy to get there. Shops, restaurants, and supermarkets are only a few meters away. The property is easy to access, has private parking on site, and felt clean and secure. The larger apartment is well equipped for stays longer than a week. It has good radiator heating and a good shower, along with 10 Mbps Wi-Fi. There isn't a safe, and the TV only gets German channels.

The owner made everything easy, even when we ended up staying longer than booked. The apartment was modern, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished, and we thought the price was good for what we got. We rented it for a long weekend last May. It's a little away from the hustle and bustle, with a supermarket right outside and a bus stop nearby that gets you into town fairly quickly and cheaply.
