That loud music on the ground floor at 9:47 pm, put on for the “bus people,” was unbelievable. At least the bus people themselves were the only fun part. They were all elderly, so breakfast felt like being in a nursing home. The breakfast was lousy and cost 25 euro, and the price overall was ridiculously high. This is among the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. One receptionist was arrogant and unprofessional, though the others were fine. The room phone didn’t work, and the brochure wasn’t accurate. They claimed the 24-hour room service information was outdated because nobody had updated them, but nobody seems to read the brochures. They didn’t replace the water bottle either, leaving one 0.5l bottle for two people for the whole stay. There wasn’t a coffee machine or even a kettle anywhere to boil water for tea. I rarely write something this long, but my ears are hurting from the party. Don’t punish yourself, skip this place.

The restaurant serves excellent food, and there’s a nice continental breakfast buffet. The employees were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and a good size. Beds are on the soft side. It’s a pleasant place to stay away from home or take a break on a long trip through Europe.

The restaurant terrace, with its great view, is the only thing I found that lifts this above a standard German three-star hotel, so I don’t really see why it has four stars. A4 is quite close, but the nighttime noise wasn’t too bad.

Nice location and team, though the room was average. They’re redoing the garden, so noisy work starts at 7 am and makes for a mandatory morning alarm.
