Gästehaus Loschwitz

This is a historic, traditional building, kept in very good shape, with no elevator or fancy extras. For the price, it’s great value. My room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable mattress, big pillows, and a large bathroom and shower. It faces the street, but with the windows shut, the noise didn’t bother me. Guests have free parking 100 metres away. You can also park right by the entrance for €5, but I didn’t think that was worth it.

We came for a family reunion and had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was fantastic, and our room was spacious with a nice modern bathroom. The neighborhood was very quiet, with a bus line just steps down the street. A couple of nearby restaurants were handy for dinner, then we sat in the beer garden later in the evening. We’d definitely come back.

This is a lovely, clean guesthouse, especially handy if you’re traveling by bicycle, with lots of bike routes nearby. The owners were very kind and understanding. We were traveling with a physically disabled person and asked for a bathroom with walk-in access; they found a suitable room for us. After checkout, we realized we’d left the car key together with the room keys. We called the owner, and since we were already 100 km from Dresden, they offered to send them to our home address. We were really happy with our stay and can recommend it to bikers.

I really liked this hotel. It’s peaceful and lovely, and my room was spacious, clean, and convenient. It had a fan, TV, refrigerator, and dryer. The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was perfect.
