Hotel am Waldschlösschen

The views were amazing and the service was great. My only complaint is that there isn't enough parking for the guests.

They kept my money even though I cancelled my booking on time. It feels like a scam.

The people were nice.

Getting to the sights was easy. The public transport stop is about a five-minute walk away, and from there the main station takes roughly 15-20 minutes. Line 11 and a day ticket were enough for us, about €13 for the family. Bakeries, kebab shops, and other places to grab lunch or dinner are close by too. The room was in the annex on the fourth floor, with plenty of room, including space for the breakfast we'd booked. Breakfast was fantastic, served personally and very warmly, with regional sausage specialties, cheese, and fruit. There's also a separate enclosed smoking room and a shared kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, and other things. Our room came with shower gel, hand soap, a hairdryer, towels, and free Wi-Fi. Finding parking in front of the hotel can be a struggle, since it's first come, first served. The hotel was incredibly accommodating during booking, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the stay was. We'd happily come back to Dresden and stay again. Thanks so much!
