Limehome Dresden Wallstraße

I checked in two hours ago and there’s no heat. Customer service isn’t responding, and the bathroom sink is clogged. Limehome has officially spoiled my Dresden trip. Terrible place!

My wife was sick and throwing up on checkout morning, so I asked if we could extend our checkout time. Their friendly chatbot refused and couldn’t direct the request to anyone who could help. The second part is what really offends me. Asking a chatbot to summarize the chat, take a screenshot, and forward it to their support email is a basic request most chatbot systems can handle. It left me with the impression that Limehome is deliberately making guests do this manually, hoping they’ll give up, accept whatever problem they’re trying to solve, and go away. That would mean fewer support requests and lower costs for the company. We did give up after my email to their support team went unanswered.

There’s a patio with a great rooftop view, though you can hear your neighbors. Everything worked and getting in was easy. It could have been cleaner: dust bunnies, hair and crumbs were under the sofa bed and the bed, and some utensils needed washing before use. There was no washcloth. If you notice my stuff strewn about, it’s because there’s no real place to put anything.

The kitchen had everything we needed for quick meals, and the room was clean and comfortable enough for a longer stay in Dresden. Check-in and checkout were smooth. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, though, and the pillows weren't comfortable, especially over more than a couple of nights.
