Neumarkt Aparthotel

After three weeks in Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria, this was easily the best apartment we stayed in. It was huge, spread over multiple levels, and fully furnished and equipped. The location is right on the main square, with cathedral views, and there's convenient underground parking. Everything was perfect!

Our room faced the back, so it was quiet, and it was both clean and spacious. The bathroom had a washing machine, which came in very handy. The shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The aparthotel is just off the main square.

The location was great, the rooms were clean, and having a washing machine in the room was a real convenience. Still, the stay was pretty average because of several problems. The rooms got extremely hot in summer with such poor ventilation, and there was no sample detergent for the washer. As a short-term visitor, I didn't want to buy a whole package. The bed also had no fitted sheet, a minor annoyance. The Wi-Fi was very poor and unreliable, making it hard for me to stay connected or get work done. The office closed at 7 pm, which could be a problem if you lost your keys or needed help later. Better ventilation, detergent samples, fitted sheets, reliable Wi-Fi, and longer office hours would improve the place.

For the price, it's a good deal, and the service is correct. The apartments are big, but the lack of air conditioning is a real problem in summer. They get very hot, and opening the windows doesn't help much. There's a church about 75 meters away, so with the windows open there's quite a bit of noise. There's a kitchen, but they actively discourage using it: a smoke detector is right there, and the fire department call-out fee is 1500 euro. At least the refrigerator doesn't make smoke. If it's above 25 degrees, I'd pick somewhere else. The location is excellent for a fair price, but the apartments are where it falls short.
