There happened to be a room available at the last minute, which was useful, but in my opinion Pension Arcade feels more like a hostel than a hotel. My single room was really small, the bathroom was dirty, and there was dust on every shelf I looked at. Nobody speaks English, and in December the heaters were barely warm. I generally wouldn't recommend it.

The check-in window is only 3PM-6PM, and although credit card payment is listed, they actually take only EC card. I was given a non-smoking room, but there was smoke smell everywhere in it. The internet was slow too. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and the stay was really bad.

I had no Wi-Fi for the whole night, so I couldn't get in touch with my family at all. As someone new to Germany with no German, I wouldn't suggest this hotel, especially with the rude staff. This will be my last stay here.

Dresden is a nice city, and there's a good restaurant nearby. The place is motorcycle friendly, with friendly people and good service for a nice price. I'd recommend this hotel.
