Pension zur Königlichen Ausspanne Dresden

This is a good fit if you like a quieter, more personal place to stay while visiting Dresden. The bus stop is only a few meters away for trips to the city center, while the guesthouse itself is peaceful on the outskirts. The rooms suit the guesthouse’s name, with some wardrobes that look like museum pieces but are there to use. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available, but there’s no dinner, so you’ll need to sort out evening meals yourself. The holiday apartment is another option if you’d rather cook in the evenings. You don’t feel like just another guest here.

We stayed in the apartment, which was simply beautiful and furnished with such attention to detail. The guesthouse is lovely, with a royal garden, and the staff and hostess were very friendly. I can recommend it wholeheartedly. I hope we get to visit again within the next three years 😉. Thanks so much, and all the best.

A well-run guesthouse with a very friendly hostess. The included breakfast is generous, and parking in front is no problem.

We were delighted with this royal retreat back in 2013, and our return in 2022 confirmed that first impression. This time we stayed in the vacation apartment, which had loads of space, a big bathroom, and really comfortable mattresses. Breakfast was delicious, and they also took care of our individual requests. Special thanks to the owner, who always had a kind word and lots of great Dresden tips! :)
