The staff were so kind, and the garden, sauna, and pool made for a lovely little escape. It’s a quiet spot near Dresden, just right for a weekend away.

The room was fine and the staff were friendly, but the main reason to stay here, the spa, barely worked out for us. The sauna was available on only two of the six days we booked, and when we finally could use it, it had been closed by the health department. There was also a water issue involving “Legionella bacteria.” One day the system had to be cleaned, leaving us without hot water for showers. Afterward, the water still barely got warm enough. WiFi came and went, but that was the least of our problems. Given how far the hotel is from the city centre, having no real spa benefit made it hard to recommend.

The Bio Sauna and little indoor pool were my favorites, especially on a hot day. I also liked the outdoor furniture and the indoor area for resting. The staff were very friendly, and three hours felt very affordable.
