Star G Hotel Premium Dresden Altmarkt

For a visit to the Christmas markets, the location couldn't have been better, and I thought the price was very reasonable for such a convenient spot. We had a great overnight stay at Star G Hotel in Dresden. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, including extra towels, bottled water, a coffee machine, and a TV. We skipped the breakfast buffet, though a quick look suggested plenty of options. I'd absolutely recommend Star G Hotel Dresden for its location and value. Thanks for a great stay!

Its location is extremely convenient, but the room didn't feel worth the price. Ours was large and quite dark, as if it needed a few more ceiling lights, and there weren't any special or interesting amenities for the cost. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, but the bathroom had no door, so showering meant doing it in front of the bed. Please give bathrooms doors! The toilet also had no proper ventilation, which made things worse. Fine for the location, but I was disappointed in the room.

The views were spectacular, and both the room and bathroom were immaculately clean. I'd definitely come back at Christmas. The one downside was the morning noise from people setting up the Christmas market and passersby.

From the hotel it was easy to walk around the city's main attractions, and I really enjoyed looking out over the square with the beautiful church bells nearby. I can only imagine how lovely it must be during Christmas market season. There’s ample underground parking just a few minutes away. A very nice hotel that I highly recommend.
