The location is lovely and quite tucked away, near a small lake, with a restaurant and Biergarten. It felt a bit expensive for what you get, including the rooms, food, and drinks. Service was okay, but nothing special. I didn’t really feel welcome, more like I was just creating extra work for someone.

The food tasted good, but service was only average. The manager didn’t seem interested in the customers or as though they needed the business.

It’s a peaceful, relaxing spot, with the Harz region’s major attractions only a short drive away. We can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful gem. Simply fantastic!

The location is lovely and very quiet, and we were greeted in a friendly way. Our room was spacious, bright, and very clean. Breakfast was generous and had everything we could want. We were very satisfied with our weekend stay.
