Gaestehaus Villa Rose

We'd happily stay here again. The rooms were lovely, though there were one or two things in ours we'd have changed. Breakfast was carefully prepared and well worth recommending. The guesthouse is quiet and has a huge, well-kept garden, which was great for traveling with a dog. There's a factory across the way that isn't much to look at, but if you know the poems about the villa, it doesn't bother you. The location also makes it easy to get to the local attractions. We recommend it, especially since hotels can be ridiculously expensive during the holidays, and a hotel isn't always necessary.

The quiet and convenient location made the stay especially lovely, with everything easy to reach. My girlfriend and I spent five days in the top-floor apartment. It was spotless, laid out well, and had everything we needed, and we slept really well. The house has a wonderful atmosphere. Mrs. Müller, our hostess, made us a lovely breakfast every day and was always ready to help. Thank you, dear Villa Rose, for such a wonderful time. It doesn't take much to make people happy and content. And thank you, Mrs. Müller, for all your hard work.

Breakfast was a real surprise. The sausages and meat salad came from the butcher, not a can, and the rolls were fresh from the baker. Our hostess was super friendly, too. We sat down in the breakfast room and felt a bit like royalty :-) The house itself has so much character and soul, with beautifully restored hallways and rooms and a charm all its own. I remembered it from childhood, when it was falling into disrepair, so when I heard the villa had been rebuilt, I had to stay there. My wife and I booked with breakfast included. For dessert, there were wild strawberries growing around the villa. The owner doesn't provide them, I picked them myself. If you're there at the right time, don't miss that treat.

Rita put together a generous, lovely breakfast for me at short notice, which was a great start to my hiking holiday. I had a wonderful time at Villa Rosa, staying in a large, clean apartment with everything I needed. I'd highly recommend this place.
