The property management company was always very friendly and helpful, and I want to make that clear. Still, we had a terrible stay. The Wi-Fi and TV signal were disconnected, and the apartment we got was musty, dark, and run-down, despite being described as modern and comfortable. The furniture was in junk condition. The bed had broken, so we had to prop it up with a stack of books. After we complained, an electrician turned up two days later, unannounced, in our bathroom one morning with help from the owners.

It’s in a nice, quiet location, with a well-furnished apartment, a decent layout, and a very nice, large garden. But the sandbox wasn’t playable, and the apartment itself was really noisy. We could hear every word from the tenants next door, even at normal speaking volume, and the neighbors upstairs were even worse. It sounded like a herd of elephants dancing samba above us. Unfortunately, I can’t really recommend it.

The beach isn’t far, and the forest was only 30 meters away for walking the dogs. We stayed in the upstairs apartment, which had a lovely large living room and two comfortable bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. It was very nicely furnished.

Our little holiday apartment in the garden was cozy and had everything we needed. The place was peaceful and beautifully situated, with a lovely garden and the beach just 300m away. Holiday home rental Rubbrecht was very friendly. Thumbs up!
