Andefu am Kantpark

The beds were comfortable for one drunken night, and the location is good. The staff were superb, especially the helpful woman who spoke English well. It’s a shame there’s no door between the toilet and the room.

We booked at the last minute and got a room right away. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the owners are really nice. The room was clean and cute, with a comfy bed and a small bathroom that had what we needed. The hotel photos could use an update, because it’s prettier in person.

The woman was kind, but I couldn’t get past the bugs, even in my bedding. I tried to overlook them because the place was cheap. Now I’m at an even cheaper hotel in Dusseldorf with a clean, spacious room, and I’ve realized this property just isn’t bearable. The neighborhood also didn’t feel safe for a woman traveling alone.

The shower was nice, the bed was soft, and the owners were kind. We’d booked the smallest room for two, but they insisted on offering us a larger one. When we politely said no, they gave us the bigger room for free. They clearly care about their guests. A really nice hotel!
