I can’t speak to the hostel itself, but it’s a terrible choice for package drop-off through DPD or GLS. Friends and acquaintances have also confirmed that technical problems happen constantly. And when a real issue comes up, the supposed “boss” insults and verbally abuses you. I’ve already filed complaints with GLS and DPD about the operator’s behavior. I hope this helps. 😘❤️❣️ Of course, this review, like the others about the hostel, will probably be deleted quickly.

The reception area felt homey and cozy, and the staff and owners were clean, friendly, and welcoming, with such a cheerful air. The rooms were really nice and modern, too. I was staying with two friends, and when our car broke down, they helped right away and are now taking care of it. If you want a quiet, welcoming hostel in Duisburg, I can highly recommend this one.

The owner was very friendly, and we had a great stay. The train station is just a 12-minute walk away, so connections are good. The rooms were lovely, clean, and so new my towel still had a note attached. I noticed a few small marks in the shower, so a squeegee or shower door would help, though they’re renovating and I expect that to change. They had a room available even on Japan Day. The place is being renovated and looks much better from the outside than in the photo.

The beds are comfortable, and by car it’s ten minutes from the city. There’s a small kiosk opposite. The place is very friendly and hygienic, and it’s currently being renovated. I’ve seen worse places, so for me everything is top-notch, even better than the pictures. 10/10 WOW😍🙈
