The houseboat was lovely and very well equipped, and its location was fantastic, about a 10-minute walk from the city center. We were four people staying for a weekend. The beds felt narrow to us, and the mattresses were more than just soft, so we didn't sleep very well. Apart from that, everything was perfect! 👌🏻

The city center is easy to reach on foot, with lots of restaurants and things to do. We had a great view, especially at night, and the houseboat was even better furnished than expected. The host was friendly, and we'd definitely stay again.

We could just sit looking at the water and get away from the everyday routine. The houseboat had everything we needed for a short break, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Even before the stay, contact was extremely friendly and straightforward. We're already looking forward to next year!

The only downside was the view of the unsightly concrete steps in the inner harbor. Otherwise, the "Lore" had everything we needed, and we didn't lack a thing. It was wonderfully peaceful aboard and in the marina, which made it easy to relax, even though lovely restaurants and Duisburg's old town were only a few minutes' walk away. We had a wonderful night on the "Lore", with fantastic weather too. 😎
