Antares Apartments

The fire alarm went off throughout the building on my last day, and no one came to the floors to explain what was happening. I rushed to find someone from the cleaning team. The first woman I spoke to said she couldn’t understand me when I asked in English, so I asked again in German. She replied, “Ist alles gut, keine Sorge” (“Everything is fine, don’t worry”). That basic reassurance could have been shared with guests instead of leaving everyone confused and panicking. The only good part of my stay was Hans from Customer Support, who genuinely cared and was professional and helpful. In my assigned room, there were silverfish on the floor and a bowl of soup, already solidified, left in the microwave by a previous guest. When I first called, the agent insisted the building was fully booked and offered no solution. I called again when I was ready to check out and leave, and Hans immediately arranged a room change so I wouldn’t have to find another hotel at night. If the alarm incident hadn’t happened, I might have let the rest go, only because of Hans. But the anxiety from the alarm and the unhelpful attitude of the cleaning supervisor made me write this to warn other potential guests. To be clear, there’s no staff on site besides the cleaning team. No reception.

My stay was okay, but the room smelled so bad that my hair, clothes and other things smelled gross. The mattress had a stain, and the shower drain was clogged. I wouldn’t book this hotel for more than one night.

The worst stay ever. The place was very dirty, with blood spots on the blankets, and the bathroom and toilet were dirty too. We booked a king-size bed but got two single beds pushed next to each other, which was really uncomfortable. The apartment heating didn’t work, and it took them three days to fix it. We were without heat that whole time, and they messaged us that we could get extra blankets. There’s no room service, and you’re charged if you ask them to clean the apartment. The lift is very old and slow. During our nine-day stay, the coffee machine worked for only two days.

We left after just an hour and quickly booked somewhere else. The main issue was that the door had no lock, which didn’t feel safe for two girls. The apartment was much smaller than expected, smaller than hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. It wasn’t very clean either, and it’s beside a busy street with lots of noise from other apartments. After reading reviews about things being stolen and rude staff, that settled it. There were two positives: the smart TV and the bed, which was very small, around 140, but comfortable.
