The apartment was basic, nothing special, and the view was from below. The location was okay.

There’s no storage room, and they suggest leaving your luggage at the train station, which is expensive. The hotel was also unresponsive and didn’t take responsibility toward its clients, despite the surprisingly high price. I booked because of the high ratings and ended up very disappointed. Not recommended at all.

We had a great host, Charan, who was available on Whatsapp whenever we needed help. Self check-in and check-out with the provided code made it easy to manage things ourselves. The apartment was comfortable, with plenty of space, good beds, a large fridge, cooking facilities, free fast wifi, and a big-screen TV with Netflix and a profile for each guest language. It felt more like living in the city for a few days than staying in a hotel, which suits me better than a mini-minibar, paid ‘premium’ wifi, or a TV locked to local channels. Don’t expect five-star luxury, but it’s great value for money and I’d absolutely recommend it. The location was very good, close to the city center and easy to reach. There’s a parking garage nearby for €10/day, with a supermarket and mall across the street.

For what we paid, these were good apartments for our group of eight. We booked two, and they were clean when we arrived. Nils showed us around, answered questions, and suggested places to go in Duesseldorf. The wifi was fast, the windows were nice and big, and the beds were comfortable. We could connect to the smart TV too. If you’re traveling with four or more people, it’s a good choice.
