The room was fine, and being close to the city center was convenient. What I liked less was the entrance hall: lots of young people were hanging out there, and when we arrived there was a strong smell of illegal substances, as if people had been smoking indoors. By the next morning the hall was very messy.

The location was great, but the way the hotel dealt with what happened was awful. On my first night, touching the bed made me itch and break out in rashes. By the middle of the second night it had become much worse, and I couldn't sleep. Around 3 a.m. I called to ask for a different room. They told me to go downstairs to the laundry room and get clean bedding instead. My partner started getting a serious rash too after we changed the sheets ourselves. I called again and they agreed to move us. The first replacement room had visible blood stains on the sofa bed. While I was asking for a refund and contacting Booking customer service, it took a long time to negotiate another room. The next sofa bed still had blood stains. I kept asking for a full refund, but the hotel refused and said it could only give 15% of that day's room rate back. It was already 5 a.m., I was exhausted from being awake all night, and there was nowhere else for us to go, so I had to accept that for the moment. The next day they sent someone to change the bedding and spray insecticide. After the trip, we found the hotel had never paid the promised 15% compensation. Booking, acting as the intermediary, covered part of the remaining points from its own pocket. Avoid this awful hotel. They also removed my review from Booking.

There was no breakfast or reception, and really nothing else. The windows couldn't be opened, the room felt stuffy and claustrophobic, and the curtains had to stay shut because the windows faced the sidewalk.

I really liked the atmosphere and style here. It's a very clean, modern apartment-style hotel, and everything worked perfectly, though doing everything yourself through the automation takes a little getting used to. There's complimentary coffee in the lobby. It works really well for a business trip and could suit a small family too. I'd happily recommend it.
