Numa Düsseldorf Leo

The location worked perfectly for my business trip, right in the center with public transport close by. The room was modern, well equipped and spotless, and facing the courtyard meant it was quiet. The mattress was super comfortable, too. Being able to check in after booking took the hassle out of arrival. Highly recommend.

Little Tokyo is just a five-minute walk away, and there are several grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The metro is close, too. It’s a nice apartment hotel, with a small kitchen and good air conditioning to keep the room cool.

Getting in without a key was easy with the efficient check-in system. The bed was comfortable, and I liked the minimalist decor. Numa Leo is modern and functional, with a great location and easy access to public transport. Highly recommended.

My first stay with Numa was a really disappointing experience, despite the interesting concept. It became one of my worst experiences with a hotel app or platform. I’d booked a room with parking, but all the Numa spots were full when I arrived. The only space left was marked “Rewe.” I contacted customer service on WhatsApp, and after about an hour they told me to move the car and park somewhere else, promising a refund. I’d already paid for secured parking, and the wait cost me 1-2 hours and disrupted my plans. Then, on the morning of my stay, I got an email saying extra costs were due because of an error in their voucher system. The tone was firm and suggested my stay wouldn’t be confirmed unless I paid. I’d checked in online the previous day, but paid anyway to avoid trouble while traveling with my family. A few hours later, they emailed again and told me to disregard the earlier message. I asked how they’d handle refunds for people who had already paid, but still haven’t received a response. The basement parking is also very tight, and getting to the rooms with kids or a stroller isn’t ideal.
