I spent five months there in a 3x3-meter room with its own bathroom. Hot water was available only in summer, and it got very hot in winter. I could get internet only when the owner chose to turn on the router. When he knew I was working, he would come into the room, supposedly to "check up." The place had only foreign guests, who paid per bed rather than per room. I took some pictures because I was surprised. Our sink stayed broken for two weeks, and I refused to come fix it or send anyone.

There are two guesthouses using the same phone number, so communication could be clearer. If you don't speak Bavarian well, you might wind up at the wrong one in Eltmann. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, a nice fit for a few nights. I only missed having a hairdryer in the bathroom.
