There was plenty to do from this hillside spot near Ebermannstadt, from cycling and kayaking on the Wiesent to exploring Franconian Switzerland, caves, and places like Nuremberg, Forchheim, Bamberg, and Bayreuth. We also took the steam train from Ebermannstadt. The Klaus family were easy to reach and very accommodating, and we’d like to thank them and wish future guests a lovely holiday in our home region. We stayed in July 2025 and found the apartment spacious, modern, and well cared for. We were warmly welcomed, had a terrace overlooking a lovely garden, and our own lockable bike storage room and parking space in front of the house. The modern kitchen had everything we needed for cooking on vacation. With the price and quality in such good balance, we can highly recommend the apartment.
