The dinner was a highlight of our wine tasting weekend with two friends. The restaurant prices, wine included, were reasonable, and I’d especially recommend the menu for two with veal cheeks. Breakfast was good, though you can’t order eggs made to order. We loved the vineyard setting. Our room was only okay for comfort and nothing special, though perhaps there are nicer rooms available.

Surrounded by vineyards, this is my favorite hotel in Edenkoben. The rooms are great, and so is breakfast.

The room could use a little freshening up, though it wasn’t bad. The hotel feels peaceful and cosy among the vineyards, just outside town, and it’s about a five minute walk to the center. There are trails nearby if you feel like getting out. The attached restaurant had some good options, and the staff were kind and polite, though they weren’t comfortable speaking English. It’s a nice place with what you need for a stay.

The restaurant was the real treat, gorgeous cuisine. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too, especially the scrambled eggs. Our room was roomy and clean, with a new bathroom, a flat shower, and the fastest hot water ever. The rainforest shower was a nice touch. From the moment we arrived, the people here were so lovely. It was a pleasure to stay.
