We cancelled our trip. The website doesn’t advertise the minimum stay, and the hotel prices there are misleading. When bookings are heavy, prices get loaded. For example, a Tipee with no bedding or amenities, just a block toilet, was €111. What a joke.

We booked three neighboring apartments, and booking by phone was straightforward both times. The apartments were consistently clean and well maintained, and we had everything we needed. This was our second stay at the resort. On our visit we went to the Christmas market on the first Sunday of Advent. It was lovely, with lots of activities and events for the children, though Saturday was absolutely packed. Prices are still acceptable, but shouldn’t go any higher. It’s easy to get to the event area from the holiday park. Parking was a bit tight this time because the resort was fully booked and other vehicles were parked there. Thanks again to Ms. Öttl for her friendly, exceptionally warm hospitality. Until next time!
We’ve stayed overnight at Pullman City four times now. Our first stay was at the Western Park hotel on the Main River, and it was fantastic, with just the right decor and atmosphere. The second, third, fourth, and last stays were in one of the holiday apartments owned by Grünberger GmbH. Each time, things felt worse and more run-down. Downstairs in the standard apartment, the guest toilet in the hall has no toilet paper holder, something others have complained about too. It only costs a few cents, and putting one up isn’t rocket science. Having to leave rolls on the windowsill feels primitive. There’s no heating in there, so in winter you get a cold bottom, and naturally there’s only cold water. Absolutely substandard. The kitchenette has only the bare minimum of dishes and cookware for meals and breakfast. You’d better wash things before using them, since previous guests don’t leave them very clean, except perhaps in apartments with dishwashers. The wooden dining table and chairs are scratched and show a lot of wear, and need refinishing. We find it really inconvenient that the wardrobe with mirror and hooks is right next to the dining table and chairs. It would fit better, and suit the theme more, in the small hallway. There’s a small cabinet under the TV where the sofa bed’s bedding is kept. The kitchen cabinets are the only place for food and other kitchen things you bring yourself, but you also have bags, and in winter hats and scarves. Where do you put them? Storage is lacking downstairs in the living area and upstairs in the bedrooms and bathroom. The decor is a complete waste of space, with not a single picture, absolutely nothing. They’ve cut corners wherever possible. The rented bed linen isn’t even made up, just laid on the bed, so your vacation starts with work. The blackout curtains are thin, printed fabric that lets daylight through until late on summer evenings. You can’t really darken the room. It only gets dark inside when it’s dark outside, and when it gets light early in summer, sleep is out of the question.
