Gasthof & Hotel Jägerwirt

Really lovely place, with tasty food and a very friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend it.

The service at our 80th birthday celebration in the Jägerstüberl was so attentive, and they went along with every request. They even made extra vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food was great, and I'd absolutely recommend the place if you're after a traditional Bavarian atmosphere.

We tried a range of meat dishes, and every one was delicious, well cooked, and high quality. Gasthof Jägerwirt focuses on ox meat, with dry-aged ox steak that was tender and ox tips cooked just right. The place is huge, with several dining rooms and an outdoor terrace, and it also has a farm and its own butcher shop. Service was friendly and efficient. It's not cheap, but the quality makes the prices understandable. The cakes are popular too, and they sell out fast. It's a good idea to pick and reserve a slice before your meal if you want a particular one. Lots of people stop by just to take home 3-5 slices.

The food was excellent, and most of the staff were friendly and trying to help. Still, it was crowded and loud, with the rooms feeling cramped and overbooked. We waited around 1.5 hours for our food, and it arrived at such different times that we couldn't eat together. Some of the staff also weren't sure which table was which.
