Metzgerei Gasthof Oberhauser - Hotel zur Post

When the war began, our family left Ukraine with our four children. In such a difficult time, you gave us a place to stay for two weeks without charging us. That support meant so much, and we value every day we spent with you. The hotel was cozy and comfortable, and our stay there was very pleasant. Everyone on staff whom we met was polite, professional, and supportive. The restaurant food was unbelievably delicious, truly the best we've tried in Germany. Thank you again for all your help. We're deeply touched, and hope we can meet you again and thank you in person. Marina and Oleksandr

The room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff were very kind. It would be great to have some vegan breakfast choices beyond bread, jam, and margarine, such as vegan sausages, bacon, or other alternatives.

For Bavarian pork roast around Wolfratshausen, this is my favorite spot. I like the traditional serving with bread dumplings and red cabbage, and the butcher's meat is excellent quality. It's straightforward, old-fashioned cooking rather than high-end food, but the value for money is very solid. You won't get the best money can buy, but probably the best at that price.

The service was really nice and helpful, and the food was very good quality. Prices run a little high, though.
