It’s easy to talk business over lunch here because the dining room is quiet, and the service is prompt without getting in the way. The staff are friendly, attentive, and speak good English. Landhaus Feckl’s Michelin-starred restaurant has a very good lunch menu, with excellent food that doesn’t feel pretentious and a wine list to match. I can see why the Michelin guide recommends it. It’s a lovely choice for hosting business guests. Guests currently need proof of vaccination or recovery, or a negative Covid test. The restaurant accepts the Luca app or a printed vaccination certificate.

We were too full for dessert after our late anniversary dinner, but we enjoyed the little tray of sweets while finishing our wine. The setting was nicely decorated and very romantic, and the service was wonderful throughout. My wife ordered the daily special, a steinbutt fillet with a perfect paprika sauce, chanterelles, and vegetables. I went for a generous portion of onion roast with brown gravy, fried potatoes with bacon, and a great salad. We both started with lobster bisque, and the waitress brought an amuse-bouche of spiced beef in aspic, tasty sausage with potatoes, and curry mousse as we sipped our Affaltrach Sauvignon Blanc. My wife had suggested Landhaus Feckl for our 38th anniversary. A friend had recommended it years ago, before COVID, but I’d forgotten about the place. She couldn’t have chosen better. It’s easy to see why it has a Michelin rating. We’ll be back!

We’ve been three times now, and every visit has been perfect. The four-course vegetarian menu is creative and tasty, and it’s great value for the price. The service is just as good, with everyone friendly and attentive.

We all left the four-course dinner with my family completely full, which I loved. At many one-star places the courses are just a few bites on a huge plate, but the portions at Landhaus Feckl were just right. The food was sensational, so the Michelin star is well deserved. The staff were competent and friendly. Highly recommend dining here!

I really enjoyed the fresh local ingredients, cooked beautifully and paired with excellent wines. It was a lovely setting for a very good classical gourmet meal, and the service was excellent.
